Ecostar PVP Pneumatic Grease Pump
The pneumatically controlled grease pump is made of high-performance materials and is fitted with a follower plate in the grease reservoir. This clearly visualises the grease level.
The grease pump is controlled by an electronic or mechanical pulse generator, depending on the supply system available. A brake counter is often used on a semi-trailer; a lubrication cycle is performed based on a number of power-assisted braking actions to be set in advance. A timer is often used on a truck; a lubrication cycle is performed based on a time interval to be set in advance.
The correct functioning of the grease lubrication system is visually indicated by an LED indicator mounted on the dashboard. It will light up during the lubrication cycle of approx. 3 minutes and then go out. If the indicator remains lit, this indicates that there is a fault in the system.
For air pressures exceeding approx. 12 bar a pressure-reducing valve should be used.
The one-line system is based on 0 or 00 grease (NLGI number). The components are made of high-performance materials.
STERK Ecostar central grease lubrication systems extend the service life of valuable equipment and reduce the maintenance costs.
